October dude?! Crispy mornings dude?! Break out that hoodie, and those warm-up pants fam and let’s get into cold morning training!
The Gen Z types have a term for what could happen now, it’s called “Winter Arc.” From what I can piece together, “Winter Arc” is where one goes into hiding basically and emerges in spring time like a whole different person. So for gym types what typically happens, is you buy a 3x hoodie (if that’s big for you), so no one at the gym can see what kind of progress you’re making, and you “LOCK IN” (another Gen Z slang for like “getting serious”, or “cutting the BS”) so that 5-6 months from now when you doff said oversized “pump cover” the whole gym goes “daaaaaamn whatchu been doin?!”
Maybe it’s time for your winter arc, and 3x pump cover vibe? Or maybe you’ve already been gains maxxing and are way ahead of me? Or maybe you’re busy aura farming on the side harnessing the pumpkin spooky vibes and you’re just tapped out. In any case, know that I’m stoked for you, and as tough as the fall/winter can be for you seasonal affective types, know that the gym will be the gym, good times, hard workouts, PR’s and friends. This week is gonna be rough, enjoy!
